Laura Gerstemeier

Laura Gerstemeier, MBA, CFP®, CPA  is   the Director of Operations for Gerstemeier Financial Group, LLC.  She assists with all administrative, accounting and operational functions of the firm.  Laura began her career as a consultant for Arthur Andersen LLP.  From there she became the Finance Manager for a Biotechnology firm in San Diego.  In this role she prepared and submitted all corporate SEC filings and directed treasury management activities on cash and investment balances of $20-$30 million.  She was also the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for In-Q-Tel, Inc. a technology company funded by the Central Intelligence Agency.  While there, she managed a budget of $30 million and directed all aspects of treasury management, including the development of the corporate investment policy and forecasting models for liquidity needs.

Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of San Diego.
